Asset structure index

The asset structure index reflects a bank's level of debt and leverage.

  • Loans to customers/Earning assets - Reflects the relationship between loans to customer and earning assets of the bank.

  • Loans to customers/Total assets - Reflects the relationship between loans to customer and total assets.

  • Loan deposit ratio (LDR) - Reflects the total amount of money the bank lends to customers compared to the total amount of deposits from customers.

  • Customer Deposits/Earning Assets - Reflects the relationship between customer deposits and the bank's earning assets.

  • Deposits from customers/Total assets - Reflects the relationship between customer deposits and the bank's total assets.

  • Total Assets/Equity (Leverage Ratio) - Reflects the bank's ability to use capital to finance business operations.
